Dalongshan Forest Park

Kiinalaisen uuden vuoden aikana kävimme päiväretkellä lähistön vuoripuistossa. Menimme vuorelle vuoden ensimmäisenä päivänä, eli silloin kuin suurin osa kiinalaisista pysyy kotosalla. Sää oli todella loistava, oli aurinkoista, mutta tuuli oli melko kova. Lähdimme siis koko perhe, eli kuusihenkeä kohti huippua. Matkalla näimme temppelin, josta lisään seuraavassa postauksessa. Matkan varrella oli kapeita portaita, kivimuodostelmia, ahtaita käytäviä, kivisiltoja, ja jopa vuoreen hakattuja rappusia. Retki ei ollut läheskään niin vaativa kuin Huangshan vuori, jossa kävimme CCn kanssa viime kesänä, mutta muuten ihan kiva. Meille kesti vähän yli tunnin kävellä ylös ja alas. Matkalla sai sitten ihmetellä kiinalaisten käyttäytymistä. Näkyi naisia, jolla oli korkeat korkokengät päällä, ja ihmettelen miten he selvisivät retkestä. Lisäksi näin naisen, joka heitti roskaa luontoon, vaikka metrin päässä olisi ollut roskis..

During Spring Festival we visited a mountain nearby Anqing. It was the first day of the New Year, so not that many people were doing the same thing as we. The weather was great, a bit too windy, but sunny. We hiked up the mountain and visited a temple which I will post about next. After the temple visit we hiked even further up. At some points the stairs were narrow and it was quite uncomfortable to have Ugg boots and not sneakers on. My bad. Anyways, there were lots of different rock formations and the path led us to some interesting places. Sometimes we walked inside small tunnels under large rocks and sometimes we walked on small bridges made out of stone. The hike was much easier than Huangshan, one of the most famous mountains in China, which we visited in the summer, but it was still somewhat challenging. Once again it was interesting noticing the behavior of Chinese people. Some women wore high heels, while visiting the mountain, like I said; it was already though with boots on, so I can’t imagine any one going up there with heels on. The second thing is the habit of throwing trash into the wild. There was a trash can just next to a women who decided to throw her trash into a bush..  

Lähistömme puisto

Meiltä kestää noin viisitoista minuuttia kävellä tähän puistoon, jossa vietimme aikaa viikonloppuna, kun ulkona oli lämmintä ja aurinkoista. Puisto oli täynnä ihmisiä, niin kuin se usein viikonloppuisin onkin, ja ihmiset lauloivat, vuokrasivat polkuveneen, pelasivat korttia tai sulkapalloa, tai kävelivät ympäri puiston pienillä poluilla. Puistossa on paljon kukkia ja se on muutenkin tehty hyvin viihtyisäksi, sillä siellä on paljon penkkejä ja jopa melko hyvät vessatilat. Jotkut Shanghain puistoista vaativat sisäänpääsymaksun, mutta tämä puisto on ilmainen. Mikäli koskaan tulee jaksettua, niin varmaanpa tänne voisi tulla aamuisin juoksulenkille. Kaduilla sitä ei oikein uskalla, sillä pyöräilijät ja sähkömopot ajavat vielä päälle, kun ne hiljaa yllättää nurkan takaa.

                                                                                                                                                                  

This park is located about fifteen minutes from our home and we decided to go there during the weekend. It was a warm and sunny day and lots of people spent their free time in the park by dancing, singing, playing card games or badminton, renting a boat or just walking around. The park is nice with lots of seats and the style varies a lot. Maybe someday, if I ever will like it, I could imagine go running in the park, as going for a run out on the streets might be a bit of a hazard with all the quite mopeds that can run you over.

Monkey Forest

Tunnin ajomatkan jälkeen saavuimme Ubudiin, jossa sijaitsee Monkey Forest. Apina puistoon ei kannattanut ottaa mukaan ruokaa, kameroita, koruja tai muita kiiltäviä esineitä, joita vikkelät apinat voivat viedä mukanaan. Heti portilla nainen jakeli turisteille banaaneja joita antaa apinoille. Ohjeissa luki myös, ettei ruokaa kannata piilottaa, sillä apinat kyllä ne löytävät. Tätä osaa yksi nainen ei varmasti ollut lukenut, sillä apinan jäädessä roikkumaan hänen käsilaukkuun hän ei halannut millään päästää banaania kädestään. Puisto oli melko suuri ja apinoita oli joka puolella. Ne olivat kyllä niin tottuneita ihmisiin sillä monet katsoivat kameraan tai muuten vaan poseerasivat. Menimme myös sisälle temppeliin, jonne piti pukea sarongi päälle. Apinoiden kylpypaikan ja hautausmaan kautta kävelimme takaisin kuljettajamme luo, joka ajoi meidät keskustaan. Apinat eivät olleet millään tavalla ”lukittuna” puistoon vaan ne hyppelivät puiston lähistöllä olevien talojen katoilla.

After an hour’s drive we arrived in Ubud, were a monkey forest is located. It is not wise to bring any food, jewelry or other shiny things into the park as the monkeys might snatch it and run into the forest. Inside the park some workers gave out bananas and other fruits to tourists to feed the monkeys. We were also adviced not to hide any food as the monkeys will find it anyways. A woman hadn’t read this part as she hold on to her banana tightly as a monkey hold on to her bag to get the banana. The monkeys were really used to people, as they didn’t bother us, as we didn’t had any food to give. They also posed naturally and looked into the camera nicely. The forest had a temple that we went to, but before we entered we had to put sarongs on. After seeing the monkeys bathing place and graveyard we went back to our driver who was waiting for us and drove us into the village center. 

Chuansha -puisto

Kolmaskymmenesensimmäinen päivä heräsimme jo alkuunkin myöhään, mutta nokosten jälkeen kello olikin jo kolme iltapäivällä. Meidän piti mennä ulos viettämään loppupäivää, sillä ulkona oli todella lämmin. Aluksi en halunnut mennä pyörän pakkarille kyyditettäväksi, mutta lopulta suostuin kun kuulin, että puisto oli melko lähellä. Ja onneksi se olikin lähellä, sillä viiden minuutin matka sattui takapuoleen todella paljon, vaikka tie oli suora. Puiston sisäänkäynnin luona oli pienimuotoinen huivipuisto, jossa oli paljon perheitä lapsineen. Me jatkoimme puiston toiselle puolelle, jossa sijaitsee iso rakennus. Rakennuksen ylimpään kerrokseen pystyi portaita pitkin kiipeämään, ja minä puolikuntoisena jaksoin juuri ja juuri ylös asti. Rakennuksen ympäri kiertävästä parvekkeesta oli hyvät näkymät lähialueen ylle. Puistossa oli lampi, jossa pystyi polkuveneellä liikkumaan. Olisin ehkä itsekin voinut polkuveneellä mennä, mutta touhu näytti enemmän törmäysauto-menolta, sillä veneilijät polkivat suoraan päin tosiaan. Jossain oli jopa viiden veneen kasaantuma kun kaikki vaan törmäsivät toisiinsa. Ehkä lammessa oli vähän liikaa veneitä. Puistoalue oli muutenkin todella mukava, missä monenlaista porukkaa vietti vapaataan.

On the thirty-first of January we got up really late, but after taking a nap the clock was already three o'clock. We were supposed to go out today, since we hadn't dome it the previous day. Outside was really warm, so by cycle we went to a park nearby. Inside the park area there was a small amusement park full of families with their young children. We continued to the the other side of the park where a huge building is located. From the inside stairs we climbed to the top floor, from where there is a good view over the nearby area. I barley made it up there, since I was still a bit under the weather. After this we walked around the park. There were a lot of different people spending their free time in the park, and it was nice to see something not touristy at all. The park had a pound with paddle boats. The scene was pretty chaotic as most people just paddled straight into another boat without even trying to avoid a collision.
