Taobao on Kiinan vastine Ebaylle, eli nettikauppa, josta voi monesti halvemmalla ostaa tuotteita kun kaupasta. Olen tähän saakka ostanut Taobaosta kolme tuotetta, ja olen ollut tyytyväinen niihin kaikkiin. No mites minä sitten tuotteet osasin ostaa kun sivusto on Kiinaksi? Aiemmin Kiinalainen oli asentanut minulle ohjelman joka kääntää tietokoneella sanat, jotka hiirellä yliviivaan, eli pystyin lukemaan tuoteselosteet jne. Minulla on myös Taobaossa tili, mutta minun ei sitä tällä kertaa tarvinnut käyttää, sillä poikaystävän sisko tuli auttamaan. Minun tarvitsi siis valita tuote jonka haluan ja lähettää siskolle sivuston osoite, jotta hän sitten tuotteen tilaa ja maksaa samalla verkkopankin kautta. Annoin siskolle rahaa ja kerroin minkä värin tai koon haluun, ja hän sitten teki kaikki tilaukset puolestani. Jotkut tuotteista tuli kahden päivän sisällä kun taas toinen tuli kolmen - neljän päivän kuluttua. Postitus ei maksa melkein mitään Kiinassa, ja posti tuodaan kotiin, koululle tai työpaikalle. Tässä tapauksessa paketit tuotiin poikaystäväni työpaikalle, sillä koulussa en tiedä minne ne joutuvat. Posteljooni tai lähettiläs soittaa aina etukäteen, että paketti on tulossa, ja kun en näistä mitään ymmärrä on parempi, että poikaystävä nämä jutut hoitaa.
Kuten sanoin tuli kolme
tuotetta ostettua. Ensimmäinen ja paras ostos kaikista on Zaran nahkatakki
niitti-koristelulla. Takin alkuperäishinta oli vähän yli kaksisataa euroa. Minä
sen ostin noin kahdella kympillä. Ensiksi en koosta ollut varma, sillä ne
täällä vaihtelevat aika paljon, joten vaikka tilasin L-koon, pelkäsi sen olevan
liian pieni, ja siksi otinkin ensimmäiseksi halvan takin, mikäli koko olisikin
ollut huono. Koko oli loistava ja niin myös laatu. Ei se aitoa nahkaa ollut,
mutta Zaran laadun mukaisesti, todella hyvä jäljitelmä. Toinenkin ostos tuli
Zaralta, eli kimono, jota olin joskus kauan sitten kaupassa katsellut. Silloin
sekin varmasti maksoi joku lähemmäs seitsemänkymmentä euroa, joten se jäi
onneksi ostamatta, sillä tämä maksoi Taobaossa yhdeksän euroa. Laatu ei ole
parasta, eli kopio, mutta se on kumminkin samannäköinen kuin aito. Kolmannen oston
kohdalla oli myös vähän riskiä, sillä ostin Victorias Secretin bikinit, ja en
tiedä heidän koista mitään. Otin taas L-koon ja onneksi sopivat. Nämäkään eivät
maksaneet kuin vähän yli kolme euroa. Niin pitkään kun ostan halvalla, ei
haittaa mikäli koot eivät mene oikein, sillä harmittaisi enemmän, jos ostaa
aidon ja kalliin, ja koko on aivan väärä, kun palauttaakaan ei voi.

I have been doing some shopping on the internet using a site called Taobao. It's the Chinese version of Ebay, and I have found lots of things cheaper here than what I could buy the same product for in the real store. So far I have bought and received three items, and I'm sure I will be ordering more soon. How I managed to buy items of this site that is completely in Chinese wasn't a problem for me. As a Chinese guy had installed a program on my computer that translates words that I point at with my mouse, I was able to read the product descriptions, whit a little bit of imagination. I also have an account on Taobao, but I didn't need to use that as my boyfriends sister helped me. I only needed to send her the link to the site of the product I wanted, inform her the size and color and she did the rest. I gave her also the money in advance so she could pay with her internet bank account. The ordered product arrive pretty quickly and one of them arrived after two days as the rest came after three to four days. The items can be delivered home, school or work, but as the courier calls in advance and doesn't speak any English, it was better that the packages were sent to my boyfriends workplace.

The original price was 1799rmb, but I bought it for 159rmb. The second item was also from Zara, but this time the quality wasn't too good, and I can see that this one is a copy and not the real thing. The kimono I bought cost only 69rmb, but I have seen the real one and it cost over 600rmb. I bought all of my items in size L, but I still wasn't sure they would fit as a L here can be more like a S. Luckily the clothes fit, but that is also why I chose the cheap items, since if the size wouldn't fit, I wouldn't be able to return them. The last item was a bikini from Victorias Secret. This was also a bit of a risky buy, as I have no idea about their sizes. The bikini isn't too bad and as I only paid 25rmb for it, I feel like it was a great deal, as I don't think I would get a bikini cheaper anywhere else in this town.
