520 -päivä

Eilen kiinassa vietettiin erikoista päivää, nimeltä 520. Nimi on päivämäärä, eli 20.5., mutta kiinassa kuukausi tulee ennen päivää. 520 lausutaan kiinaksi wu er ling, mutta kiinalaisten mielestä se kuulostaa samalta kuin wo ai ni, eli minä rakastan sinua, ja sen takia päivä onkin kuin ystävänpäivä. 

                                                                                                                                                                   

Yesterday China celebrated the 520 –day. The number comes from the date 20^th of May which in China is written as 5.20. When the numbers are pronounced it is wu er ling, which Chinese people thinks sounds the same as wo ai ni, which means I love you. Therefore that day is similar to maybe Valentine’s day, even though they celebrate that day as well in February.
