Olen kerran aikaisemmin
käynyt Huangpu jokiristeilyllä, mutta tällä kertaa otin ainoastaan lautan joen
yli päästäkseen Pudongin puolelta Puxin puolelle. Lautta maksoi noin 0,30euroa,
ja käytin ihan metrokorttia. Tullessani paikalle, laiturilla odotti jo jonkin
verran ihmisiä, joten menin itsekin sinne odottamaan, vaikka sisällä
terminaalissakin pystyi olemaan. Ihan hyvä, että menin ajoissa odottamaan,
sillä takanani oli melko paljon ihmisiä lautan saapuessa. Ensin päästettiin
kaikki ulos lautasta, ennen kun laiturin ovet avattiin. Kyydissä oli suuri
määrä länkkäreitä, mutta minun kyydissäni ei ollut kovin monta ulkomaalaista.
Porttien avatessa,
kiinalaiset oikein ryntäsivät päästäkseen ylös ja ulos istumaan. Olisi kiva
olla ulkona, mutta tiesin kuinka suuri ruuhka sinne syntyy, joten menin mieluimmin
ylös sisään istumaan. Matka ei montaa minuuttia kestänyt. Siirryin ajoissa
alakertaan, josta pääsetään ulos, jotta en jäisi kiinalaisten alle, ja huomasin
kuinka vähän ihmisiä alakerrassa loppujen lopuksi oli. Lautta saapui Puxin
puolella sijaitsevan Bundin luo, ja jäin Bundille istumaan hetkeksi.
I
have once before gone on a river cruise on Huangpu river, but this time I did
as the locals do, and took the ferry across the river. The ferry takes you from
Pudong to Puxi pretty fast, but the terminal on Pudong side is located pretty
far away from Lujiazui metro station. On the other hand the terminal on Puxi
side isn’t convenient either, regarding the distance to the metro station, but it is
on the Bund, and therefore the locations isn’t as bad as on the other side. The
ferry across the river cost only 2rmb, and I was able to use my metro card.
When
I arrived at the ferry terminal at Pudong, there were some people already waiting for the ferry, so I joined
the crowd. In the end there were quite a crowd waiting. I’m lucky
I was in the front as people ran to the ferry when the doors were opened, just
to get a seat on the upper deck. I stayed inside, just to avoid the masses.
Actually the inside of the ferry was pretty empty. I think taking the ferry
across is both a great method of transportation and sightseeing.
