Juutalaiskorttelin
jälkeen siirryimme paikallisten markkina-alueelle. Eipä siellä ollut paljon,
mitä en aikaisemmin ole nähnyt myynnissä muualla. Paikalla olisi kuulemma aikaisemmin
ollut partureita kadulla, mutta he olivat tällä kertaa lounaalla. Käveltyämme
markkinat läpi menimme lähistöllä sijaitsevaan nuoriso-hostelliin lounaalle. Suurin
osa, eli noin kaksitoista henkeä, tilasi pizzan, ja se taisi olla virhe.
Keittiössä oli yksi pitsa uuni, sillä pitsat saapuivat pöytään aina
noin. kymmenen minuutin välein. Oma pizza tuli siis siinä puolentoista tunnin
odottelun jälkeen, onneksi ei sentään viimeisenä.
After walkin throug hthe Jewish Ghetto, we
went to a local market. The streets were filled with shops selling just the
regular stuff that I have seen before. The only thing that could have been
interesting is barbers working in the street, but they were on lunch when we
walked past. In the end of the tour we headed over to a nearby youth hostel to
have some lunch. Everybody except for one ordered pizza, which was a mistake,
since the kitchen probably only had one pizza oven. Every ten minutes one pizza
arrived, and after one and a half hour my pizza arrived. Luckily I wasn’t the
last on to get my pizza.
