Meidän oli viikonloppuna
tarkoitus lähteä Niken, Adidaksen ja Rebooken ystävämyynteihin, mutta meillä ei
ollutkaan aikaa vaan menin toiseen paikkaan ostoksille. Tiistaina olin jo
valmiiksi keskustassa, joten päätin käydä katsomassa, mikäli sieltä jotain
halvalla löytyy. Otin metron North Sichuan Roadille, josta kännykän
navigaattorilla navigoin itseni kohteeseen. En ole siis aikaisemmin käynyt
ostoksilla täälläpäin, joten en tunnistanut katuja kovin hyvin. Pääsin perille
navigaattorin ansiosta, mutta edessäni oli iso pankki-rakennus. Menin sivuoven
vartijalta kysymään missä oikea paikka on, ja hän neuvoi minut sisään ja
yhdeksänteen kerrokseen. Rakennus oli täynnä pienten firmojen toimistoja, ja
sitten tämä ystävämyynti oli sujautettu yhteen huoneeseen. Paikalla oli varmaan
lähes viisikymmentä ihmistä, josta suurin osa tungeksi pöydän ääressä, josta
luulen heidän saaneen kenkiä. Paikalle ei ollut mitään minun makuuni, vaikka
hinnaksi joillekin tuotteille oli pistetty alle kymmenen euroa. Lähdin toista
tietä pitkin suunnistamaan takaisin kohti metroasemaa ja kotiin lepäämään.
We
were supposed to go to Nike, Adidas and Rebook sales event in the weekend, but we didn’t have
time, so I ended up going shopping somewhere else. On Tuesday, when I already
was in the city, I decided to go there and have a look at what they had to
offer. I had to take a metro to North Sichuan Road, a place not familiar to me.
There I used my phone navigator to find the right building. The building ended
up being a large bank – office building and I had no idea where to head next.
The entrance guard guided me to the ninth floor where I found a room full of
cloths and people. The cloths weren’t that interesting even though the prices
seemed to be really low. Lots of people were pushing their way to a counter
where I believe they got shoes in the right size, but I wasn’t interested in
getting in the crowd, so headed back to the metro.
