Olemme pari kertaa
käyneet Amway –ketjun tiloissa perheen äidin tai tädin seurassa. Kerran kävimme
siellä seuraamassa kun iso porukka yhdessä valmisti pannupizzaa, mutta muuten
olemme vain olleet siellä seurana. Tällä kertaa otimme osaa vesien testaus
tilaisuuteen. Eli kolmea pullovettä ja kahta hanavettä testattiin. Yksi
hanavesistä taisi olla suodatettua ja toinen ei. En ole ihan varma mitä tässä
testissä selvisi, sillä he puhuivat ainoastaan kiinaa, mutta ehkä se suurin
piirtein näin meni. Ensiksi suodatettuun hanaveteen lisättiin klooria ja
näytettiin, miten väri muuttui keltaiseksi. Tämän jälkeen kokeiltiin sama ensin
juomalla vesi, ja sitten sylkäisemällä vesi takaisin lasiin, kun kloori lisättiin,
väri ei muuttunutkaan. Toiseen lasiin pistettiin klooria ja tee lehtiä, ja tee
imi värin itseensä. Mitä tästä selvisi, minulla ei ole hajuakaan? Toiseksi
kaikkiin testilaseihin pistettiin jokin kynän tapainen tikku, jonka päässä oli
valo, valo paloi kolmen lasin kohdalla, kun taas kahden pulloveden kohdalla
valo ei syttynyt. Tämän jälkeen laseihin pistettiin uusi tikku, joka näytti
jotain eri lukemia, jossain pullovesissä oli lukemana 50 kun taas hanavedessä
taisi olla lähemmäs 300. Taaskaan minulla ei ollut hajuakaan mitä tässä
testattiin. Ainoastaan viimeinen testi oli selvä, kun kaikkiin laseihin
pistettiin ainetta, joka näyttäsi nesteen PH arvon. Kaksi pullovesistä oli
happamia, kun taas se pullovesi, jota minä juon ja hanavedet, olivat kunnossa.
Testattua tuli myös miten hapan viinaa saadaan tasapainotettua juomalla
hanavettä huonon pulloveden sijaan. Selvisi myös että limun PH arvoa ei saa
tasoitettua hanavedellä samaan tapaan kuin viinaa, vaan se pysyy happamana.

This time they tested the quality of water, so we were asked to sit down and follow the presentation. Five waters, three bottled waters and two tap waters, were put into small cups. Using the one of the tap waters, I do not know if it was purified or not, yellow liquid was added to the cup and the water turned yellow. The tester took a sip of some more water, spit in a cup, and added the yellow liquid in it, but it didn't turn yellow this time. Also tea leaves were added into another cup and the leaves absorbed the color. I can't explain what happened during the tests since they only spoke Chinese. In all five cups with different water sorts, two different sticks were one by one put inside the cup. One stick had a light that turned on for some of them and the other stick displayed some numbers. It seemed like two of the bottled waters had low numbers as the tap waters and one bottled water had high numbers. After this pH values were tested by adding a liquid to all of the cups. Two of the bottled waters became yellow - redish as the tap waters and one bottled water become blue - greenish. The only thing I know for sure is that based on this test, the safest water to drink is the Nongfu Spring water, the brand that I have been using all this time.
