Meillä on koulusta
vapaata, koska täällä kiinassa on Full Moon Holiday käynnissä (lisää siitä
toisessa blogipostissa). Torstaina lähdin jo aamu kymmeneltä bussilla
kaupunkiin. Koska monella on vapaata, niin bussi oli aivan täynnä koko matkan.
Perillä otin metron Super Brand Malliin. Luulin löytäväni sieltä paljon
kauppoja joista pitäisin, mutta loppujen lopuksi siellä ei ollut kauppoja minun
makuuni. Ostin Mixxo:sta takin ja shortsit ja Adidaksesta legginsit. Vietin
kauppakeskuksessa noin pari tuntia, ennen kun päätin ottaa metron takaisin
Central Avenue:lle, josta löysin paljon kauppakeskuksia. Koska ainoastaan
hotellin muovitohvelit olivat käyttökelvolliset, aloin etsimään uusia
lenkkareita. Löysin hyvät Niken kengät, mutta koska hinta oli niin korkea,
päätin vielä miettiä asiaa. Lopulta otin bussin takaisin hotellille ja sain
jopa hyvän istumapaikan vaikka en mennyt suoraan bussille, luullessani sen
olevan jo täynnä.
Seuraavana päivänä
tapasin tanskalaiset kymmeneltä hotellin aulassa. Lähdimme kuljetuksella
metroasemalle, josta otimme metron Science and Technology Museum asemalle.
Aseman luona on yksi isoimmista feikkimerkkimarketeista. Hajaannuimme kahteen,
sillä kävellessä yhdessä kukaan ei olisi saanut mitään ostettua. Ostin usb
tikun alle kolmella eurolla ja Michael Kors laukun viidellätoista eurolla.
Laukkukauppias ei tykännyt tinkimiä tavastani huomattaessa, että minulla oli
oikea Michael Korsin kello kädessä. Olin valmis maksamaan laukusta vain
kolmetoista euroa, mutta mikään kauppias ei ollut valmis siihen hintaan,
sanonen sen olevan heidän sisänostohinta.
Olin kertonut muille
haluavani mennä Nanjing roadin Nike myymälään ostamaan kengät, joten lähdimme
kaikki yhdessä sinne. Ostin lopulta ne kengät, joita olin edellisenä päivänä
katsonut, mutta toisen värisenä. Jatkoimme ihmisjoukon keskellä kävelyä pitkin
kävelykatua etsiessä Taco Bell:iä. Emme kumminkaan löytäneet etsimäämme, joten
kävimme Subissa syömässä. Ruoan jälkeen otimme metron Lujiazui asemalle, jossa
oloin jo edellispäivänä ollut Super Brand Mallissa. Etsimme bikinejä yhdessä
tanskalaisen kanssa salin uima-allasta varten, joka kaupasta, mutta emme
löytäneet mitään muuta kun Speedon todella kalliita uimapukuja. Eli nähtävästi
kaikkea mitä tarvitsee ei suurimmasta kauppakeskuksesta löydy.

We have had a three day
holiday here in Shnaghai since the Chinese are celebrating the Full Moon. On Thursday I took the bus to the city at ten in the morning. I
started at Super Brand Mall. I thought that I would find everything from there,
but frankly there was nothing I liked in the mall. In the end I only bought
leggings from Adidas and a jacket and shorts from Mixxo. After spending a
couple of hours in the mall I took the metro back to Central Avenue, where I
walked a couple of minutes to get to the main shopping street. In one of the
shopping centers I found good Nike shoes, but since they were so expensive and
I didn’t like the color I decided to look further even though I only had my
plastic slippers from the hotel. I came back to the hotel at six, after taking
the bus back home.
The next day I met the Danish students in
the lobby before ten and together we got a ride to the nearest metro station.
We took the metro to Science and Technology Museum metro stop, where you can
find one of the biggest markets. I only bought an Usb stick and a bag from
there. One of the Danes bought so much that he had to pay another of the guys
to carry it the whole day. Last time I was at the market there were more bags
that I liked, but this time most of the brands where gone.
I had told the other ones that I wanted to
buy Nike shoes from their flagship store at Nanjing road. We took the metro to
East Nanjing Road and walked to the shop. I got my shoes and we continued
looking for a place to eat at. We thought there would be a Taco Bell near Park
Hotel, but since we couldn’t find it anywhere we decided to go back and eat at
Subway. After lunch we took the metro to Super Brand Mall. Together with one of
Danes we looked for swimwear, but couldn’t find any that we wanted to buy.
Swimwear is probably the only thing you can’t find anywhere.
