Tänään muutin huoneeseeni, joka sijaitsee kampuksen hotellissa. Olimme jo tuoneet kaikki vaatteet ja muut tarvikkeet, jotka otin mukaan Suomesta jo pari päivää aikaisemmin, joten minun ei tarvinnut tuoda paljon tavaroita paikalle tänään. Huoneessa on todella iso mutta kova sänky, kirjoituspöytä, tv ja oma hyllykkö sekä ruokatarvikkeille ja vaatteille. Käytössäni on onneksi myös oma kylpyhuone, jossa on suihku ja normaali wc, eikä mikään reikä lattiassa, mikä on Kiinassa normaalia. Lisäksi olin jo aikaisemmin varannut yhdenhengen huoneen, vaikka se olikin kalliimpi kuin jos olisin jakanut huoneeni toisen oppilaan kanssa.
Huone sijaitsee kolmannessa
kerroksessa, missä kaikki muutkin vaihto-oppilaat asuvat. Näkymät ikkunasta
eivät ole mitkään huikeat, sillä näen suoraan sisään viereisen talon
luokkahuoneisiin. Huoneessani ei ole jääkaappia, joten kävin iltapalaksi
ostamassa leipää ja vettä koulualueen ruokakaupasta. Tämä setti maksoi melkein
kaksi euroa, mikä on kallista, sillä olin odottanut, että ruokaa saisi
viidelläkymmenellä sentillä. Pitää kai huomenna yrittää käydä syömässä
ruokalassa, jos sieltä löytyisi halvempaa ruokaa. (:

Today I moved to my room at the campus hotel. I'm glad that we had brought all the stuff I'd taken from Finland with me a couple of days ago, so there was only some arranging to do today. We had also gone to Walmart a couple of days ago to buy all the necessities I would need, so that I wouldn't need to go and buy all the heavy thing by myself. In the room I have a big bed, desk, tv and a small closet for clothes. The room only have a few storage places, so I probably have to go and by some baskets or something. Probably from the IKEA that is in the city.
The room is on the third floor and I live next to other exchange students. I have heard some Danish, Russian and Germany being spoken by other students. The view from my room isn't so great since I see right into the classrooms of the building across the street. Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with my room, but I might rethink this in the winter, since the room hasn't got any heating system, only an air conditioner, and the winter might get really cold here in Shanghai.
