ikkunasta on mukavat näkymät viereisiin rakennuksiin, mutta suoraa näkymää Nanjing roadin emme saaneet. Aamupala yllätti meidät todella, sillä tarjolla ei ollut dumplingien lisäksi muuta kuin paistettua nuudelia, riisivelliä, kananmunia ja kahvia. Pitää vielä lisätä, että aamupala dumplingit eivät sisällä mitään, eli ne maistuvat maustamattomilta taikinapaloilta.Hyvän sijainnin lisäksi hotelli on suht koht mukava ollakseen vanhanaikainen. Yllättävää on myös se, että kun astuu hissistä ulos joutuu keskelle risteystä, josta tuhannet shoppailijat kävelevät mopojen, autojen ja bussien seassa.

We are staying at a hotel called Seventh Heaven here in Shanghai city. When entering the hotel you have to take the elevator, which is next to a clothing store, to the seventh floor to get to the reception. The hotel in it self is kind of old fashioned but the rooms are nice and we have a good view outside. The breakfast was a surprise, since the only things served didn't taste anything. Chinese people might survive on dumplings and noodles in the morning, and maybe I will too in a couple of weeks. An other weird thing is when leaving the hotel you step right into traffic, since cars drive right trough people walking on the Nanjing road. The only thing that helps when crossing streets like this is knowing that most of the time motorcycles and cars will avoid hitting people.
