Viimeinen illallinen

Viimeinen päivä tanskalaisten kanssa alkoi melko myöhään. Minun palatessa kotiin vähän ennen yhtätoista, heräsin vasta kahden jälkeen. Muidenkin herättyä lähdin kolmen tanskalaisen kanssa markkinoille, sillä heidän piti vielä tehdä viime hetken ostoksia. Matkalla menimme kuitenkin Wagas kahvilaan syömään viimeistä kertaa. Wagas on vähän niin kuin mäkkäri meille, sillä käymme siellä syömässä aina kun haluamme jotain normaalia jota olemme kokeilleet aikaisemmin. Wagasista oli vain viiden minuutin matka taksilla Science and Technology markkinoille. Yksi tanskalaisista oli ottanut teettämänsä puvun mukaan korjattavaksi, mutta melkein kaikki räätälit olivat kiinni. Ensiksi he halusivat uudet kengät. Converse –kengät, joita he kaikki käyttävät, piti uusia, ja ihme kyllä he saivat ne ostettua vähän yli kuudella eurolla. Samassa kenkäkaupassa myyjä näytti meille kännykästään kuvia uusista Nike Free Run kengistä. Alkuhinta oli noin viisikymmentä euroa, ja niitä ei ollut edes kaupassa näytillä, joten jouduimme odottamaan melko pitkään ennen kun meidän koot tuotiin kauppaan kokeiltavaksi. Minä ja yksi tanskalainen oli valmis ostamaan itselleen parin, mutta minun olleen jo valmis maksamaan 26€, tanskalainen sanoi meidän maksavan 39€ kahdesta parista. En uskonut saavamme ne, mutta tanskalainen oli niin varma asiasta, että lopulta myyjä möi kengät alle kahdella kympillä. Tanskalaiset tarvitsivat myös elektroniikkaa, joten ostin samalla kännykkääni ladattavan lisäakun 13€.

Shoppailun jälkeen lähdin yhden tanskalaisen kanssa Puxin puolelle syömään yhdessä kahden tanskalaisen kanssa, jotka eivät olleet tulleet markkinoille mukaan. Kaksi muuta päättivät mennä hotelille pakkaamaan. Menimme California Pizza –ravintolaan, jossa kokeilin clubi pizzaa banaanisuklaapirtelön kanssa. Clubi pizzassa oli savustettua pekonia ja kanaa, jonka päälle oli ripoteltu salaatti-avokado-tomaatti-majoneesi sekoitus. Ihan hyvä sekoitus syödä pizza salaatin kanssa. Ruokailun jälkeen lähdimme etsimään taksia, mutta se ei ollut yhtään helppoa, vaikka olimme melko keskustassa. Odotimme varmaan lähemmäs kolmekymmentä minuuttia, ennen kuin saimme taksin. Hotelilla en paljon ehtinyt tanskalaisten kanssa olla, heidän pakatessa melko myöhään. Aamulla kahdeksalta kolme tanskalaisista tuli hyvästelemään, kahden muun tullessa vasta yhdeltätoista, sillä heillä oli myöhempi lento. Olen kuulemma tervetullut tanskaan heitä tervehtimään. He jopa sanoivat, että minun pitää sitten kesällä palatessa kotiin tilata lentolippu Tanskan kautta.

The last day with the Danes started pretty late. As I had come home eleven in the morning I only got up after two o'clock. As the other ones woke up we took a taxi and went to the Science and Technology market to do some last minute shopping. On the way we stopped by Wagas to have some food. At the market the guys had to get new Converse shoes to bring home, and I don't wonder at all, since they got them for 50RMB a pair. In the same shoe-shop the seller showed us pictures from his phone of some new nike Free Run shoes. We had to wait a while before his friend went and picked them up from their warehouse. The starting price was 400RMB, but one of the Danes who wanted them too, said we would only pay 300RMB for two pairs. I never thought they would go so low, as the sellers said pretty quickly no. But as we walked around nearby we were called in to negotiate the price two times before we got them for the 300. I was already ready to pay 200RMB for my shoes, so I'm glad the Dane was so sure he would get it for the price he said. The Danes also needed some electronics so I bought at the same time a portable battery for my phone as the one I bought in Finland doesn't work anymore.

After shopping I went with one of the Danes out to Puxi to eat. The other ones took the taxi back home, so that they could start packing. At California Pizza we met up with the Danes that hadn't come shopping with us. I got a chocolate-banana milkshake with a club pizza. The pizza consisted of smoked bacon and chicken, and on had some salad-tomato-avocado-mayonnaise topping. We left the restaurant after nine o'clock and we could not get a taxi for a really long time even though we were in the city center almost. As we got back to the hotel I didn't see the Danes too much as they all were just packing really late. In the morning at eight three of the Danes come by my room to say good-bye, as the two other had a later flight and came to say good-bye at eleven. Pretty sure I will see them again when I leave Shanghai in the summer :)
