Hyvää kiinalaista uutta
vuotta! Onkohan nyt sitten lampaan vai vuohen vuosi, sillä kiinalaiset eivät
kauheasti erota näitä kahta. Kiinalaista uutta vuotta odotellessa katsomme
kotona uuden vuoden gaalaa tveestä. Jostain syystä aikataulut eivät oikein
toimineet, joten uuden vuoden illallinen jäi syömättä ja sen sijaan sain kokata
lihaa ja perunaa illalliseksi. Nyt olisi tarkoituksena askarella vähän
paperikoristeita ennen kuin me kello kahdeltatoista menemme temppeliin. Saa
nähdä onko myös kaikki muut alueen ihmiset päättäneet samaan aikaan käydä
temppelissä siunautumassa uutta vuotta
varten?

Chinese New Year! I’m not sure if this year is the year of the lamb, sheep or
goat, as Chinese people don’t separate between these three and just uses one of
them when speaking about the new year. For now we do as the rest of the
population and look at the new year gala on TV. I should also do some paper
cutting before we head over to the nearby temple to receive some new year’s
blessings. Let’s see how many people have decided to do the same thing as we
are at twelve o’clock?
