Orchard Roadilta otimme metron Marina Bayhin. Tulimme ulos metroasemalta tasan
kello kuudelta, mikä oli onni, sillä vastaamme tuli mieletön määrä ihmisiä
matkalla töistä kotiin. Metroasema on juuri ison businessalueen vieressä, joten
vaikutti siltä kun kaikki lopettavat työnsä kuudelta. Olimme matkalla katsomaan
kello kahdeksalta alkavaan vesishowta, mutta sillä olimme niin ajoissa Marina
Bayssa, pidimme pienen lepotauon rantakävelyn vieressä olevissa aurinkotuoleissa.

From Orchard Road we took a metro to Marina
Bay. We came out from the metro station at exactly six o’clock. I’m glad we
didn’t come any later as a huge amount of people walked towards the metro. It
seems like all the people working in the finance district ends their work at six
and all of them wants to take that metro line back home. In other words we barely
avoided the Singapore rush hour. We were on our way to the Marina Bays water show,
but as we were so early we could take a break in one of the sun beds on the
side of the boardwalk.
