Kävimme saksalaisen ja
hänen miehensä veljen kanssa samassa teehuoneessa kun parisen kuukautta sitten.
Teehuoneen juju on se, että maksat teestä, eli noin 10 euroa per henkilö ja
saat syödä niin paljon kun jaksat. Suurimmaksi osaa tarjolla on pikkunaposteltavaa,
kuten pähkinöitä, hedelmiä ja kylmiä annoksia, mutta voi myös saada nuudeli tai
dumpling annoksia jos pyytää. Tämän lisäksi joka tunti, huoneeseen tuodaan
erikoisannoksia, jotka voivat olla esim. kakkupaloja, paistettuja dumplingeja.
Aina kun joku pieni annos loppuu, voi pyytää tarjoilijaa tuomaan lisään.
Saksalaiset eivät olleet
kokeneet tätä aikaisemmin, joten he olivat aivan ihmeissään ruoan määrästä.
Söimme parisen tuntia, jonka jälkeen pelasimme korttia. Opetimme veljelle,
miten kiinalaista pokeria pelataan. Ilta oli niinkin mukava, että saksalainen
haluaa, että teemme sen vielä kerran, ennen kun me molemmat palaamme
kotimaihimme joulukuussa.
Together
with the German and her husband’s brother, we went to the same tea house as CC
and I have been to before. You just pay for the tea, and the rest of the food
is free. The tea is amazingly good and you can fill up with water as long as
you want. Some small dishes are served constantly, including nuts, fruits and
cold Chinese dishes. Noodles and dumplings can be asked for and every hour they
bring some special dishes to the private room. One of the special dishes was
some sort of cake that the German loved since it tasted like German Christmas
cake.
The
Germans hadn’t tried this before, so they were amazed by how much food was
served. We ate for a couple of hours and then we played cards. We had to teach
the brother how to play Chinese poker. The evening was so nice that the German
asked me if we could do it again before we both return to your home countries
in December.
