Before continuing with my blog posts about my holiday I have to write about school, since I have had classes for two weeks now. Once again I had two weeks on me to try different courses, to see if they go together with my courses back in Finland. I tried e.g. International Trade and Public Finance courses, but they don't fit into my degree, so I had to skip them even though both courses had good teachers. On Monday I International Business Administration, which basically I don't know what it is since I only attended one hour. But since it has the name of my education it has to be useful. On Wednesday I have too classes. In the morning Management Accounting. The teacher was shocked that a foreign student attends his class so he has to apologize to me all the time he speaks in Chinese, which is a lot.. In the evening I have Chinese 4, which is a bit challenging, since Chinese 3 would have been better for me. In the Chinese class we should be able to read and write in characters, and as I only can read pinyin, which is the written way of how the Chinese word is pronounced, the course will be hard.
On Thursday I will have Financial Statements Analysis course with the same teacher as I had in my international accounting class. There is also a Chinese student in the class I know from before, so it is easier to know what is going on in the course when there is someone to explain to you. In the evening I have Chinese Culture class and on Friday morning Cost Management Accounting. I have the same teacher here as in the other accounting class, so I will be hearing a lot of apologizes. I will be having Tuesdays free so that I have time to go to the city more often.
I also have to add that the new exchange students have arrived, so now here is living two Finnish students in the same hotel as I. There is also a girl from the same university as me, but I have only met her once. There is also five Danes, two Germans and one American. Don't have too many courses with these guys so I haven't got to know them too well.
