Hefeissä ei ole paljon
nähtävä, ja olemme olleet kaupungissa kerran aikaisemmin. Päätimme silti käydä
CCn ystävän kanssa yhdessä katsomassa yhtä nähtävyyttä. Rappuset ylös ja
ensimmäinen nähtävyys oli tämä iso monumentti. Monumentti taisi olla pystytetty
Japanin sodan voiton merkiksi. Sota Japanin kanssa on kuuma aihe Kiinassa,
mielestäni siitä puhutaan ja muistetaan aivan liikaa. Muistomerkin takana löytyi
hautausmaa. Olen tottunut toiseen laiseen hautausmaahan Kiinassa, joten tämä
olikin yllättävän paljon länsimaalaisempi kuin mitä olen nähnyt aikaisemmin. Täältä
jatkoimme kävellen ylös polkua pitkin. Pääsimme jonnekin puoliväliin vuorta ja
päätimme palata alas, sillä vuoren huipulla ei kuulemma ollut mitään nähtävää,
ja se oli vaan hyvä kuntoilulenkki. Palasimme alas parkkipaikalle, mutta sitä
ennen poikkesimme jonkun kuuluisan henkilön hautakammiolla. En siis ensiksi
tiennyt, että veden keskellä olevalla saarella on jonkun ruumis. Juuri kun
olimme lähdössä pois, iso ryhmä valtion työntekijöitä lähti kiipeämään rappusia
kohti muistomerkkiä.
Hefei is a city with not so much to see or
do. We have once before been to the city and during that trip we went to the
city centers shopping street and amusement park. This time we went to a
mountain nearby the hotel together with one of Ccs friends. We climbed lots of
stairs until we reached a war monument. I think it was a monument of the Japan
and China war. Chinese people like to talk and remember the war a lot, I think
they do it too often. Behind the monument there were some tomb stones of people
that died in the war or maybe had participated in the war. This graveyard was much more westerner than the ones I
have seen in the past. After this we continued climbing up the mountain along a
small path. We came about half way before we turned back down, since the peak
wasn’t anything special. Before we reached the parking lot we went to a place
that looked like a park, but in fact it was the tomb of some important person
from long time ago. When we finally left, a big group of government workers
started climbing the stairs towards the monument.
