Lensimme sunnuntaina
Shanghaista kotiin Suomeen uudella Airbus A350 koneessa. Lento meni hyvin ja
kone laskeutui jopa yli 30 minuuttia ajoissa, vaikka boarding alkoikin vartin
myöhässä. Kone ei ollut täynnä, mutta vieressämme istui ruotsalainen. Koneessa
oli yllättävän suuri määrä ruotsalaisia, kun vertaa kiinalaisten määrän.
Uudessa koneessa hyvät puolet olivat isommat jalka ja säilytys tilat, mutta
huono puoli on, että nyt istutaan kolmen hengen rivissä, eikä kahden niin kuin
aikaisemmin ikkunapaikoilla. Jopa oma tuuletus puuttui, joten paikoin olikin
melko kuumaa. Palvelu toimi ja ruoka maistui. Tänään taas takaisin kentälle ja
matka jatkuu Eurooppaan.

Sunday we flew from Shanghai to Helsinki with the new Finnair Airbus A350
plane. The flight went well and we landed more than 30 minutes earlier even
though the boarding started late. The plane was not full, but we still got some
one seated next to us. I don’t like the new seating arrangements, with three
people seated next to each other. The older planes with two people seats were
much better. On the bright side the space is bigger for your feet and bags and
it was easier to sleep. The sleeping position of the chair is also more comfortable
and the table can be folded in half so it doesn’t take up too much space. Not
too many bumps on the road and good food made the flight better than usually.
